As a celebration of life, the Lincoln Mystery Plays seeks to employ and engage all of our talents for creativity.
With this in mind there are more ways to support this summer’s performances than as a valued audience member.
Historically the Mystery Plays relied upon the resources of the city and county community in piecing them together.
And they still do.
There is scope for craftspeople to get involved in shaping the set, costumes and broader success of the show.
If you feel you could lend a hand, or any time – however limited – as a carpenter, joiner, set builder, costume maker, wardrobe mistress, front of house assistant or in any handy way, your contribution would prove to be critical and much appreciated.

The show runs from August 3 to 13 (excl 4 & 7) offering a rare opportunity to enjoy centuries-old tradition outdoors on a summers’ evening in the exclusive surrounds of the Cathedral Cloisters.
